Ingredients
- 1 lb beans
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 cloves garlic grated
- 1 piece ginger grated
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/8 cup sesame seeds
- red chili flakes
- pine nuts optional
- chopped almonds optional
- Salt
Instructions
- Toast the sesame seeds and grind them coarsely.
- String the beans and wash them. Steam them for 3-5 minutes only, making sure they are tender yet crisp.
- Heat oil, fry the chopped almonds or the pine nuts. Add garlic, ginger and green beans. Cook for a minute or two. Do not overcook as the beans could get soggy.
- Add soy sauce, chili flakes & sesame seeds. Add salt to taste. Enjoy!
