East meets West with Priyanka Venkatesh on Sunday, July 12th
India Club is honored to partner with CBB (Community Bridge Builders) in welcoming Dr. Priyanka Venkatesh, who shares our clubs’ common vision of bringing people together. Through culture, community service, and music, we celebrate the connections that unite us all. We are honored to welcome an artist of such exceptional caliber. Her inspiring motto, “Uniting the world through sound,” reflects her belief in music’s power to bring people together. On her website, she writes, “Amidst the chaos of the world, I create music to escape into a place where we surrender to the moment.”
Priyanka will perform captivating solo violin pieces – Eastern & Western, and then accompany talented dancers from both organizations as they showcase their artistry on stage. Professional ballroom dancers Ray Boggio and Tuyen Huynh and their partners will be doing a ballroom dance showcase. Savita Bhudia and her team will enchant you with a couple of Bollywood dances as part of the program. Following a sumptuous Indian dinner featuring an array of specialties, Priyanka will join us on the dance floor for some ballroom dancing for the remainder of what promises to be an enchanting evening.
