Friends, did you know a Mandala is a geometric pattern representation of higher thought, and it is said to promote focus? Heard of mehndi? Yes, that’s henna mostly used by Indian brides on their hands.

Want to learn more about these pieces of art? India Club is very fortunate to have Neha Assar join us on May 8^th! She certainly has artistic flare flowing through her veins. With her limitless creativity, she has been adorning brides with ornate mehndi since 1994. Her art can be seen on various canvases such as sneakers, apparel, accessories, furniture, and wall art with elements of Indian culture.

Neha Assar will be carrying-out a guided mandala drawing project for India Club. You will overcome the fear of being non-artistic. She will also bring homemade, organic, 100% natural henna-paste and applying it to whoever wants it, leaving her/him speechless!

Neha Assar’s artwork has been recognized via media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, NBC, Vogue, etc. Her artwork has also been exhibited at LA Fashion Week, The Oscar Awards, The Emmy Awards, MTV Movie Awards, and The Grammy Awards. Her list of celebrity clients includes SZA, Kylie Jenner, G-Eazy, LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal, to name a few.
