About our performers….
Dr. Vini Gora:

Dr. Vini Gora, a New Delhi-born vocalist now residing in Los Angeles, is a classically trained singer with a PhD in Indian classical music. Her professional musical journey began during her Masters when she recorded two songs for the devotional Marathi album “Aaratya”. This opportunity paved the way for her to lend her voice to numerous albums.

Driven by her passion for playback singing, she moved to Mumbai in 2017 after completing her studies. She has contributed her voice to films such as Chhatriwali (where she performed alongside the renowned Sunidhi Chauhan), Oxygen (a Gujarati film), and Singhaa (a Kannada film).  In addition to films, she has also dubbed for numerous TV shows including Choti Sardarni, Ram Siya ke Luv Kush, Vighnaharta Ganesh, Paramavtar Shrikrishna, Kashibai Bajiraoballal, Gum Hain Kisi Ke Pyar Mein and many more that aired on channels like Sony TV, Star Plus, Colors TV, and Zee TV. Her voice has also been featured in several TV commercials for brands like Wipro and LIC.

One of her notable achievements includes recording a duet with the legendary Anup Jalota ji.

Dr. Gora’s talent extends beyond the recording studio; she has an impressive track record of live performances. She has performed shows across India and overseas, sharing the stage with notable artists such as Indian Idol winner Abhijeet Sawant, Asit Tripathy, and Punjabi Singer Bhuppi. As a dedicated vocalist, Dr. Gora is devoted to promoting India’s rich musical heritag

Ria & Nina (children of Mr. Ramesh Krish & Mrs. Hema Krish):
Ria recently graduated with highest honors from Portola high school in Irvine. She will be attending SDSU in the fall majoring in Accounting. During her high school years, she won numerous awards in debate, economics and finance competitions. She teaches debate to middle schoolers at the New England debate academy. She was part of the dance program at Portola high school where she danced and choreographed in a number of styles: hip hop, jazz, contemporary. She has been learning Bharatnatyam for 8 years and completed her arangetram in 2022 under the guidance of her guru, Charulatha Jayaraman of the Shrishti school of performing arts.
 
Nina will be a junior at Portola High School. She is involved in many activities in her school. She is the sports editor of her school newspaper. She is also the president of the Red Cross and Portola fights cancer clubs where she raises awareness and funds for charities. She is involved in debate by being a middle school judge at the Orange County debate league. She participates and has won awards in business competitions. In the future she hopes to combine her interest in health care, medicine and business. She loves learning and performing Bharatnatyam, having completed her Arangetram along with her sister Ria in 2022.
